Methods: The phase 1b data represent treatment-naive AML patients unfit for intensive chemotherapy. ![]() We report here updated phase 1b data of this combination in untreated AML, including TP53-mutant AML. Magrolimab + AZA has been shown to be clinically effective in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome. Azacitidine (AZA) synergizes with magrolimab by inducing “eat me” signals on leukemic blasts, thereby enhancing phagocytosis. Magrolimab induces tumor phagocytosis and eliminates leukemia stem cells (LSCs). Introduction: Magrolimab (Hu5F9-G4) is an antibody blocking CD47, a macrophage immune checkpoint and “don’t eat me” signal on cancers.
